Nauticomp designed its new high-end monitors with very narrow aluminum chassis so you can put more glass in your glass bridge. They come in 12-, 15-, 19-, and 21-inch sizes and feature a common controller that can activate or dim—to red or black—any number of them at once. Each has an astonishing total of ten custom nameable inputs in five protocol flavors and can autoscale up to 1,600x1,200 pixels. Their backlighting systems, rated for 25,000 hours at full power, can be had in either daylight (pilothouse) or sunlight (open bridge) strengths. Prices range from $5,750 to $18,000.
