Iris Surveillance, another UK marine camera developer, has come up with a neatly portable underwater model for checking props, zincs, hull damage, etc. The little color eye, along with its built-in LED lighting, is mounted on a flexible neck, which in turn mounts to a pole that can extend up to 14 feet. Included in the $2,300 system is a 5.6-inch monitor in a splashproof case, which also contains a 12-volt rechargeable power supply. The camera and neck can also be used without the pole to eyeball those areas on your boat that are normally impossible to see, like beneath your engines.
