Power & Motoryacht‘s editor-in-chief, Capt. Richard Thiel, is a pretty modest guy. For example, he didn’t want to make a big deal out of the fact that his 20th anniversary as our Big Cheese was this month. So, being the respectful employees we are, some of whom have worked with him for more than a decade, we made a big deal—throwing him a surprise party. Present and past staff were in attendance, and a good time was had by all, as you’ll see in these photos. Even Thiel. We caught him with an ear-to-ear grin a few times. Honest.
