How is this for a Sunday drive? Most impressive about the whole video clip, though, is that this woman launched and boarded the (168-pound!) boat in some serious heels. Brava!

The Canterbury Belle was manufactured circa 1960 in Essex, England, and was powered by an 80cc two-stroke inboard with a reported top speed of 11 knots. Dig around, and you’ll find that this wasn’t the only one, and the sidecar boat was something of a midcentury trend. Why, oh why don’t they make cool stuff like this anymore?
