Heading to the Fort Lauderdale boat show at the end of the month? Pardo’s newly revamped 43 will make its American debut at the show. The company launched its first 43 back in 2017 and since then, they’ve sold over 300 of these fast and sleek dayboats (though to us, calling this easy overnighter a dayboat is a stretch). Her interior comes from Nauta design while her subtly revised exterior is the result of a collaboration between Nauta and the naval architects at Zuccheri Yacht Design. Hull windows are offered on the new model for the first time, along with redesigned sunpads and T-top. But the greatest interest for American buyers will likely come from propulsion. In addition to Volvo IPS drives, you’ll now have options for an outboard configuration in their 43R model—driven either by a trio of Mercury 400-hp V10’s or 600-hp V12’s. The hull for the outboard models is custom-designed for outboards—and Pardo promises that the triple 6 version will be good for speeds north of 50 knots. Hopefully we’ll be able to find our for ourselves soon…
