Sialia just sent us our first batch of photos of their new electric 45. The new vessel from the Polish builder should be completed this fall and will offer both impressive speed and range. With a standard 500kW battery pack, you’ll see 55nm at 25 knots while the 700kW endurance pack will boost that figure to 77nm—with fast charging from 10 to 90 percent in just two and a half hours. Her proprietary Ampros software and propulsion system is driven by a pair of 300kW (402 hp) electric drives that should run her up to 43 knots. Service wise, the motor shouldn’t need more than a grease change every ten years while a five year warranty will cover batteries and all propulsion systems. The hull will feature lightweight carbon sandwich construction that the builder promises will be far quieter than a typical carbon fiber hull and they’re promising  a slew of recycled materials in the build—including the cork flooring. She should be able to run from Monaco to St Tropez or Miami to Key Largo at 25 knots—and when an invite comes to do either, we’ll gladly step aboard.
