After the launch of the second generation with the MCY 66, MCY 70 and MCY 76 offering brighter and larger volumes, among the unlimited customization options available, Monte Carlo Yachts is introducing the new MCY Skylounge Collection at Boot Düsseldorf 2020.
The new range, namely MCY 66 Skylounge, MCY 70 Skylounge, MCY 76 Skylounge and MCY 80 Skylounge, follows the shipyard’s philosophy of having customers’ interests at heart and focuses on the concept of a yacht as a home-away-from-home. The new MCY Skylounge Collection emphasizing the close relationship between the individual and the sea features a wide and customizable enclosed Flybridge distinguished by timeless elegance. Such concept for the first time designed and manufactured by an Italian shipyard offers the owner the possibility to enjoy and experience extreme comfort on board all year round with a 360 degrees view over the horizon.
In line with the MCY Collection, the sleeker exterior lines designed to deliver a close connection with the sea are iconic, yet each model of the MCY Skylounge Collection is uniquely customized to fulfill each owner’s needs and desires. Once again, the unmistakable touches of Nuvolari Lenard are clearly visible in the wide windows as well as in the enlarged symbolic portholes aimed at offering an increased exposure to natural light throughout the yacht. The long-lasting collaboration with the Italian design studio has been further strengthen while focusing on delivering a new line distinguished by extreme comfort and safety on board, without though, missing out on the distinctive sophisticated style of Monte Carlo Yachts. The first model of the new MCY Skylounge Collection, namely new MCY 70 Skylounge, perfectly embodies the shipyard’s constant research for balance between functionality and aesthetics.
The layouts of the new MCY Skylounge Collection characterized by the introduction of a new spacious enclosed area emphasize the level of well-being on board that can be enjoyed in every season. Besides incorporating the sole helm station, fully equipped with top-edge technological elements, the Skylounge represents a large versatile entertainment area perfect for relaxing moments. Supported by the advanced Production Process and the innovative Naval Architecture, the best-in-class length of the enclosed Flybridge is distinguished by the close relationship between the internal and external areas guaranteeing a unique view of the landscape.
An elegant glass staircase reflecting the natural brightness of the yacht connects the Skylounge with the open space of the main saloon. This large area allows the owners to fully customize this module as they wish. In particular, the new MCY 70 Skylounge features a combination of comfortable sofas, a fully equipped galley and an elegant dining location. This functional relaxing area can be further expanded thanks to the close connection with the wide comfortable Aft Cockpit offering an additional al fresco dining area.
While the higher bridges of the new MCY Skylounge Collection display significant innovative elements and additional customization options, the versatile configuration of the lower deck is in line with the other models of the shipyard. The new MCY 70 Skylounge offering an owner cabin characterized by a private stair access for a higher degree of privacy, a spacious VIP cabin and a couple of comfortable guest cabins clearly embodies the elegant and sophisticated Italian Made design elements of Monte Carlo Yachts.
With the launch of the new MCY Skylounge Collection, Monte Carlo Yachts represents the first Italian brand to design and manufacture yachts featuring an enclosed Flybridge, which offers a new sense of well-being characterized by extreme comfort on board. The first model of the new MCY Collection, namely MCY 70 Skylounge, will be presented as a World Premiere at Miami Yachts Show 2020.
