#3: Limitless—315’8”

Nearly ten years after her delivery, Limitless still astounds with her technical features. She was the first yacht purpose-built for diesel-electric propulsion, and she was also the first to feature Dynamic Positioning (DP), technology that permits a vessel to keep a specific location regardless of sea condition through the use of thrusters and without the aid of anchors. (When you consider that DP, which is long-proven on commercial boats, is just beginning to make inroads in the private sector these days, it’s even more remarkable.) Also pretty tricked out: The data her custom maghogany tenders (built by Serenella) send back to the charting software in the wheelhouse, allowing the crew to keep track of them. Hopefully the tenders were put to good use in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, in June, where she was spotted cruising.
