Heesen Aurelia

Quick off the line is Heesen’s Aurelia, which you could probably guess is tenth in the builder’s line of 37-meter (121-foot) yachts, thanks to the big racing-inspired “10” painted on her aluminum hull. The racing theme continues in everything from her exterior colors, inspired by those of Gulf Oil racing, to her four cabins whose names and designs are taken from famous car designers and their most recognizable models. For example, one cabin is named after the first GT, the Lancia Aurelia, and has the same color scheme. But it’s not just her looks that are turbocharged; Aurelia can reach speeds of up to 30 knots (34.5 mph). No doubt seeing her at the docks will make you look for the starting flag.
