The yacht took a little more than three years to complete, and for the moment, she is the most voluminous one Christensen has launched. She’ll be eclipsed soon after you read this, though, as that’s when the custom 157-foot Liquidity is expected to be in her owner’s hands. Next into the mold—and built simultaneously with the series of 157s—will be a custom 146-footer. In 2005 construction is expected to start on a custom 164-foot Liquidity, the largest Christensen ever commissioned. To accommodate the big boats, the yard began work last summer on a 75-foot-tall indoor “connector” between its current production area and its finishing bay.
Christensen had hoped to show off Hull 026 and the 157-foot Liquidity at this fall’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, but Liquidity won’t quite be done in time—and Woods wants to use his boat, possibly in and around South Florida (even though he could make good use offshore of her 4,000-NM range).
If you’re in Fort Lauderdale for the late-October boat show, keep an eye out for the distinct black exterior styling around Hull 026’s windows. If Woods cruises at the yacht’s 18-knot top speed, the decorative trim just may resemble a Nike swoosh.

[Editor’s note: As we posted this online in mid-October, Tiger Woods had been photographed aboard the yacht during his honeymoon. Various media reported the name as Privacy, though they incorrectly reported that he had chartered the yacht.]

Christensen says this main saloon furniture arrangement is a first for one of its yachts. Usually, the builder has a cabinet separating the port and starboard seating areas.
An elevator for easier movement between decks is to starboard of the entry foyer, where the owner chose glass panels to line the staircase.
The sky lounge is light and spacious.
The low-level stools at the sky lounge bar are more style than substance.
A 50-inch plasma television pops up from the cabinet and swivels to face the dining room or the main saloon.
VIP stateroom guests will never lack stowage.
The galley includes at least one item that is not standard: a Miele espresso machine.
Guests can keep the captain company at the dinette to port behind the twin Stidd helm chairs in the pilothouse.
The engine room is all business.
