The traditional ideal of the well-bred Southern lady cast a lofty standard. She had to be gorgeous of course, polished and pristine, with all the right proportions. And she had to possess that certain Southern charm, a proverbial hospitality, that made guests always feel at ease. But at her core, she’d possess a toughness that belied her beauty, a trait that served her well when adversity arose (as it never fails to do). That’s a lot to ask of any one person to be sure, but for a boat—such as Lady Linda, a megayacht launch from Gulfport, Mississippi’s Trinity Yachts—the goals appear to be a bit more attainable.

At 187 feet Lady Linda is a true megayacht, though her sleek lines lend her a grace that escapes some of her similarly sized contemporaries. Her interior possesses an allure that mirrors that grace. The main deck features an elegantly styled foyer for greeting guests, as well as two large saloons: one for dining and one for entertaining. Electronic amenities on this deck include multiple hidden TVs, surround-sound stereo systems, and networked computer equipment. This is also the level on which is located the well-appointed full-beam master suite, as well as the owner’s office.
A spacious gym aft of the pilothouse will certainly help keep everybody onboard healthy and happy. Her expansive skylounge is an excellent place to take in all the incredible sights Lady Linda will allow her passengers to see. And those destinations will not be limited too much by skinny water, as the yacht’s reasonable eight-foot draft should allow her to cruise nearly without pause even in the notoriously shallow Bahamian waters.
Amidships on the lower level Lady Linda features four en suite guest cabins. These luxurious accommodations are replete with elegant marble and granite accents and adorned with soft, soothing color schemes designed to lull everyone to sleep.
But even if the worst should happen (fingers crossed of course) the yacht’s owner should have some peace of mind knowing that his boat has a strong and durable aluminum hull that should keep her cruising happily for years to come. With so many tempting amenities Lady Linda will likely be the belle of the ball at most any port she calls on. Trinity wouldn’t have it any other way for this true Southern damsel.
