#1: AL SALAMAH—456’10”
If this yacht’s length astounds you, then her beam—all 77 feet of it—will give you pause. Everyone ever associated with the project has kept tightly sealed lips, as per the wishes of her owner, Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, the Saudi Arabian defense minister. Rumors abound as to what she has onboard, including 13-foot ceiling heights and 82 rooms, one of which is said to be a hospital. One thing we do know for sure is that she left her homeport of Jeddah for one of Lrssen’s facilities late last year for a few months of refit work, which extended into spring. Some reports had it that she was renamed Issham al Baher while there, though registration documents we’ve seen don’t reflect that information.
