#19: NERO—295’6″
Besides the fact that the styling of this new launch pays homage to J.P. Morgan’s famous Corsair fleet, she’s attracting a lot of attention because she’s the latest big boat about to emerge from China, a country where yacht building is increasing exponentially across all size ranges. Nero was built for the charter market and will go for upwards of $560,000 per week. What do you get for that rate? An owner’s duplex—no mere “suite”—contains a bedroom, a dressing area separate from his and her bathrooms, and a living room the size of the saloon on some 100-footers. Since Nero will only take 12 guests, each of the staterooms is more than ample, too; in fact, the two VIP suites contain saloons with plasma TVs.
