Contender 22 Sport
Contender has made a name for itself among megayacht tenders, and the new 22 Sport brings the same quality and seaworthiness to a towable tender for larger yachts. The first Contender under 25 feet, it comes standard with corner seats in the cockpit, plus fore and aft seating.
A smart feature is the step-down enclosed head with 5-foot 4-inch headroom under the console. Designed for family fun, the 22 Sport also has the brand’s traditional fishability with a standard 26-gallon transom livewell and three fishboxes. Powered by up to a single 300-horsepower outboard (a Yamaha F250 is recommended), the 22 Sport tops out at more than 48 knots and has a 100-gallon fuel tank. Weighing in at 4,450 pounds the Contender Sport 22 is easily towed by most yachts.
