Users can upgrade or update charts through authorized C-MAP dealers, sending charts to Jeppesen or by joining Club Jeppesen, which provides an annual update and other benefits.
The latest release of C-MAP 4D cartography adds access to Automated Wreck and Obstruction Information System data, offering expanded information on more than 3,600 wrecks. Wreck data includes the wreck name, survey depth, date the vessel was sunk, and more. That wreck data goes hand-in-hand with the high-resolution bathymetry for the East Coast and Gulf of Mexico areas. Great Lakes bathymetric coverage has expanded to include shaded areas and dense contouring of depth information. Expanded C-Marina Port Plan chart data has also been added to C-MAP 4D, with proprietary charts showing docks and facilities at more than 1,000 marinas. C-MAP 4D is designed to let boaters customize chart data to suit their needs in conjunction with how they use their boats, and adjust features and data as requirements evolve.
Compatible with some GeoNav, Lorenz, Standard Horizon, and Furuno chartplotters.
