“I decided on an Outer Reef after a lot of research; 13 years in fact. I had already examined and researched many options, become a pain in the side of many builders and surveyors, and did a heck of a lot of sea trials. Frankly, there isn’t a boat like an Outer Reef; there is nothing more stable, comfortable or oceangoing.
It’s been one heck of a voyage. We passed the equator and of course gave homage to Rex Neptune and asked for a good voyage. I don’t think we did enough groveling as he has kicked the crap out of us. Although I didn’t look for it, we have had our Victory at Sea moments sustaining 12 foot waves and 50 – 60 knot winds (that’s 57 to 69 mile per hour winds for you land lubbers). Argo has been phenomenal.
