Catch the Action in Cuba

Gamefish Grande offers a one-of-a-kind fishing experience.

The secret’s out: Cuba is open to Americans and we’re beginning to flock there (you only need to file a 3300 form with the U.S. Coast Guard). And that makes sense. With its rich history and exotic charm lying a mere 90 miles from Key West, it’s easy to see why this destination is so desirable for intrepid boaters. And the untapped sportfishing opportunities just miles from its storied shore, well, that’s just the icing on the cake.

A new tournament series (operated by Active Interest Media, parent company of Power & Motoryacht) is bringing a world-class fishing tournament Cuba in the form of the Gamefish Grande, a one-of-a-kind, two-leg tournament beginning in Varadero June 5-8th.  The first leg will be launching from the modern, amenity-rich, 1,100-slip marina located on the tip of the Varadero peninsula. From there it’s only 90 miles west to Marina Hemingway in Havana for the second leg (June 10-11th).

Visas, flights, and accommodations can all be arranged for you by Cuba Travel Services’ Marlen Batista ([email protected]) the travel representative for the Gamefish Grande.

From the unspoiled fishing opportunities, to the world-class amenities, and the spirited competition, set against an unforgettable backdrop, the memories from this event are sure to be the real keepers. gamefishgrande.com
