Anchor Man By Eric Sanford ➤

Eric Sanford grew up on a boat in New Hampshire in the early ’50s but didn’t actually get his own until 2003 when he bought a 42-foot Fountain Pajot catamaran, piled some friends onboard, and sailed from San Diego to Cabo San Lucas to see if he’d like life on a boat. Since he stayed in Mexico for four years, we guess he did. After thousands of miles of cruising from Alaska to Antarctica (including crewing on the winning yacht in the 100th anniversary of the Newport-Bermuda race in 2006) he divides his time between his home in Hood River, Oregon, and either cruising his 43-foot Ocean Alexander along the Pacific Northwest coast or his 46-foot Leopard Catamaran in the Caribbean.
