Cheoy Lee Global 104 Pilothouse

With an approx. range of 2,200 miles,
it’s really no wonder why Cheoy Lee named this line of yacht, “Global.”

The twin 1,900 horsepower CAT C32 Acerts are hardly the stars of the show in this space, which features a smooth blend of old school and high-tech safety features. The more traditional items include large, fuel sight glasses, beefy handrails between engines, and easy-to-check inboard inspection points.

In the engine room you can get out aft through the crew quarters and the before-mentioned transom
or through a second watertight door that leads to a guests stateroom via a closet.

“The family doesn’t have a chef on board, they want to spend time together like they would if they were ashore, and for them, that means spending time in the galley and preparing meals.
And this,” explains VP of Sales Panu Virtanen as he gestures towards the seating for 10 (if you’re close with your family that is), “this is just like at home.”

The full beam, on deck master boasts the things you would expect: a desk, settee, large berth etc. But it’s the nice amount of—18 foot long—open, carpeted space for walking around that’s most impressive.

Many desks aboard are used for decoration,
this one is actually large enough to spread out and get work done.

The main deck saloon will likely be used predominately when guests are aboard.
There is a more casual. Family-friendly lounge on the deck above.

The second floor lounge is home to some of the best views on the boat.

While the owner expects to enjoy most of his meals in the country kitchen,
he still wanted the option for more formal dining.

The captain’s stateroom sports the same level f fit and finish as the rest of the yacht.

Interior designer Sylvia Bolton’s attention to detail can be seen throughout the 104.
