Fairline Targa 50 Gran Turismo

Perhaps it was with this tradition in mind that England’s own Fairline Boats created the Targa 50 GT, a build that looks to please discerning owners and impress visiting guests with a vigor worthy of her pedigree.

Historically speaking, the Brits have always enjoyed some measure of dominance at sea, from the Battle of Vigo Bay to the sinking of the Bismarck. Perhaps it was with this tradition in mind that England’s own Fairline Boats created the Targa 50 GT, a build that looks to please discerning owners and impress visiting guests with a vigor worthy of her pedigree.

Most important to this yacht’s entertainment acumen is her saloon. Airy is a term often used to describe interior spaces onboard boats, however in this case the description is no metaphor. The 50’s saloon has an electrically actuated sliding roof and optional sliding panoramic windows, which can transform the area into a quasi-outdoor deck that’s perfect for a Pimm’s Cup at cocktail hour.

Down below you’ll find another highlight of the 50, a relatively enormous master stateroom in the bow. The space feels like it belongs on a much larger boat, and will keep any owner pampered and ready to roll.

When it’s time to head ashore the Targa has you covered, too. A Williams 325 Jet RIB stows on the swim platform and launches via Fairline’s proprietary Tender Launch System, which promises to improve the stability of the tender when loading—a trait any lovely guest in a couture evening gown will surely appreciate. And after all, what good is a victory at sea, if there are no spoils to appreciate afterwards?
