We don’t make a habit of bringing pontoon boats into the conversation here at Power & Motoryacht, but when something like this 1,500-horsepower rig zips across our desktops, well, we’re watching.
It seems @horizonmotorsports_marine is custom-building these souped-up floating living rooms with triple Mercury 500Rs and, yeah, color us impressed. Purportedly, they top out at over 80 knots, which on a lake, seems like a terrifying ride. One thing’s for sure, you would not want to hit so much as a ripple at that speed aboard one of these speed racers.
