Finding the Right Tender for Your Boat, by Chris Caswell (continued)

Argos Nautic 305

A recent addition in the luxury yacht tender marketplace is Argos Nautic, a U.S.-built RIB aimed at raising the style, comfort, and performance of small tenders. The company’s first offering is the 305, a 10-foot tender that is unique from its Isotta leather steering wheel to the twin headrests behind the console bench seat to the standard Fusion sound system. Powered by up to a 40-horsepower outboard that produces a top speed of 31 knots, the 305 carries four passengers and is accented by custom Italian cleats and fittings as well as genuine teak decking. Argos offers both the fiberglass hull and the Orca Hypalon tubes in a wide variety of colors to match the yacht. Ample stowage is under the seating, and a dual-layer polyethylene 10-gallon fuel tank is built in under the floor. Total weight including engine is just 750 pounds.
