When Bill and Bonny Morong set up to restore the 1971 58-foot Trumpy, Somerset, they knew they’d have their work cut out for them, but the true extent of the work wouldn’t become apparent until she was hauled out. Her hull was so compromised that, “She was hogging just sitting on blocking, even though she was blocked very well,” said Bill.
