In Cannes, we got a glimpse of the result of Axopar’s investment in Evoy electric with the debut of 22- and 25-foot electric outboard powered boats. At the Ft. Lauderdale boat show, the Swedish adventure boat juggernaut unveiled that 25-footer, the AX/E to the United States market. This versatile, single cabin center console features Evoy’s 300-plus horsepower Storm motor. We say “plus” because it’s capable of bursts to 600 horsepower. Axopar is saying that makes it the fastest production e-boat on the planet. And it has impressive range too.

At the boat shows, we’re always on the lookout for unique vessels. Invented by Erik and Robert Craig nearly 30 years ago and refined through all those years, these speedy little 30-horsepower, joystick-steered catamarans feature super-stable and tough roto-molded and foam-filled pontoons, rod holders, a bimini and plenty of other options. They, frankly, look like a blast to rip around on, or cast from in inches of shallow water. Have a closer look with Senior Editor Chris Dixon.

Climb aboard for a first look at Riviera’s 6800 Sport Yacht Platinum, a yacht that blends blue water cruising capabilities with a superyacht level of fit and finish.

If there’s any doubt that European style adventure boats are making inroads into the U.S., Sea Ray laid them to rest today in Fort Lauderdale with the debut of its new Navan C30. Step aboard this fast and functional, Florida-built boat with Power & Motoryacht’s Chris Dixon and Sounding’s Pimm van Hemmen.

Experience Azimut’s eco-conscious Seadeck 6, a 57-ft hybrid yacht blending luxury with sustainability, reducing emissions by 40% with recycled materials and high-efficiency tech.

She’s a 40 foot long, 12-passenger, two-cabin adventurer with a beam of over 11 feet—and that’s without her side gunwale platforms lowered.

The builder is calling her “the most compact superyacht on the market” and there must be something to that claim because the space-age five en-suite stateroom interior just won the “Best Layout” award in at Cannes’ 2024.

A new spaceship is coming to Florida. You’ll have the first chance to check out the new three deck Silent 62 at the 2024 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show

Join the editors as they climb aboard new yachts from Azimut, Omikron, Aicon, Wellcraft and Lancia Aprea.

This Dutch-built beauty will be an eight-guest, four or five cabin (depending on whether you go for the full-beam master) explorer who’ll boast a tough steel hull and superstructure.

Now owned by Twin Vee, the first new Aquasport in three decades is launched.

With her Scandinavian-designed interior and a massive 500 square foot beach club, this is an impressive looking build.

Axopar delivers a “Swiss Army Knife” with its first true center console.
