Welp, it’s that time of year again. I’m headed down to the Brett T. Bailey Mako Rodeo out of Hoffman’s Marina in Brielle, NJ, tomorrow. Ahh, the old stomping grounds. I love getting down to the Jersey Shore in the summertime. Just me, the Boss, and the Situation palling around together on the boardwalk, sharing cotton candy, rocking out to Bon Jovi, maybe grabbing some late night cheeseballs. Fantastic.
No seriously this tournament is a ton of fun. They catch big fish (in the way of 500-pound makos and a ton of threshers), it serves a great cause (raising money for the families of National Guardsmen in the name of Brett Bailey, a 9/11 victim), and it’s one hell of a good time too. So, in short, I’m going shark hunting and I’ll be partying with the Bailey clan this weekend. If I’m not back on Monday, somebody call my mother.
