Just two weeks from now I’ll be headed down to Brielle, New Jersey (possibly aboard a Protector Targa 30) to go mako fishing on Capt. Art DellaSalla’s Andiamo in the BTB Mako Rodeo, which is a charity tournament that raises funds for the families of members of the NJ National Guard. I fished the event last year and had an awesome time. As far as I know entries are still being accepted, so click here to join now. The sharks are usually biting this time of year–big ones, I should add–and there’s a party at Hoffman’s Marina in Brielle where the weigh-in goes down. It’s kid friendly too, so bring the whole family.
