The yacht is the fastest in Tecnomar’s fleet.

Lamborghini and The Italian Sea Group have unveiled Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63, a collaboration with the exotic automaker that will be available as a limited-edition homage to the automaker’s 1963 founding.

The project began with several collaborative sessions with Lamborghini’s Centro Stile and inspiration from the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37, a hybrid supercar that incorporates technology and customizable details and colors.

With a pair of 2,000-hp MAN V12 engines, the boat will hit an estimated 60 knots and will be the fastest of Tecnomar’s fleet. Built of carbon fiber material — typical of Lamborghini’s model line — keeps her weight down to 24 tons, qualifying for ultra-lightweight boat classification.

The challenge of reinterpreting the DNA traits of both brands informed the entire project, according to the company.

”This yacht represents the significance of creating a valuable partnership, at its best: our cooperation allows the essence of…style and expertise to be transferred to different worlds, sharing in their diversity to interpret and add value to the final product in a new environment,” said Automobili Lamborghini chairman and CEO Stefano Domenicali in a statement.

“If I had to imagine a Lamborghini on water, this would be my vision,” he added. “I’m delighted to celebrate this successful collaboration.”

The hull and the superstructure are created from a high-performance shell, developed by naval engineers specializing in hydrodynamic sciences.

The hardtop is inspired by Lamborghini roadsters, and the bow lights are an homage to the Lamborghini concept car Terzo Millennio and to the Sián FKP 37, both distinctive for their Y-shaped front lights.

The interiors utilize Italian materials to mimic Lamborghini’s iconic lines, hexagon shapes, and Y-motif with customizable colors and materials.

The yacht’s instrument panel pays homage to a Lambo’s car cockpit with a nautical flair, integrating all navigation and control systems. As in Lamborghini super sports cars, details are finished in carbon fiber, with carbon skin utilized in the seating and on the helm. Even the wheel mimics the sports cars’ distinctive styling.

The start/stop buttons — one for each engine — replicate those used to start a Lamborghini engine.

“We announced this partnership in May, and today we present Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63, a motor yacht which will became as futuristic an icon as the car she is inspired by,” said Giovanni Costantino, CEO of The Italian Sea Group. “Selected owners around the world will own not only the fastest Tecnomar motor yacht in the fleet, but a Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 masterpiece. I’m proud that we have chosen to create this innovative and challenging project with Automobili Lamborghini, which links technology, supreme design, quality and performance.”

The first boat will be available at the start of 2021.
