Founded in 1875 by Friedrich Lürssen, German yacht builder Lürssen has stood the test of time as few megayacht builders have. With a history that ranges from sailing craft to warships to some of the world’s most sought-after yachts, this builder has adapted to customer demand and boasts a rèsumè of builds that includes Paul Allen’s Octopus , David Geffen’s Rising Sun , and Azzam , the largest yacht in the world.
