Feadship’s Utopia sits aglow during her refit at the yard’s Makkum facility in Holland.

It’s among the most commonly asked questions when it comes to megayachts: “Where was she built?” Whether you’re just beginning to research your options for your own yacht or are ready to talk dollars and cents with a build team, one look at the names included in this alphabetical listing of yards worldwide will provide you with the information you need.

We’ve compiled contact details (in some cases both phone numbers and e-mail addresses, as requested by the representatives) along with descriptions of what each builder expects to launch by the end of 2008. We’ve also included the following abbreviations for the hull materials they employ: A for aluminum; S for steel; and F for fiberglass.
