Fighting-Chair Physics Gallery

All the time and money you’ve spent to match perfectly tuned engines to your well-rigged convertible, researching and selecting the most advanced electronics, and all those practice runs boil down to this moment: You’re sitting on the biggest school of tuna you’ve ever seen. You run to the cockpit, rig the lures, drop the lines, and toss that bait out there, just waiting for it to be

Jeff Donahue, captain of the 77-foot Hatteras Safari, says that the goal in constructing any fighting chair is to build one that will never break, no matter what.

Selecting the proper fighting chair depends largely on how often, where, and with whom you intend to fish.

A close-up, eye-level shot of a durable black RUX waterproof bag resting on a sandy bottom in shallow, crystal-clear ocean water. The bag features a minimalist design with white "RUX" lettering and a long black carry strap draped over the top. The translucent turquoise water ripples gently around the semi-submerged gear bag, with a calm sea horizon and a clear blue sky with light clouds visible in the background.
