Flux Marine Launches their FM115 Outboard

After 10 years of research, design, and development, Flux marine is entering the electric outboard market. With a claimed $30 million invested and the opening of a manufacturing facility in Bristol, Rhode Island, we finally got a chance to try out their FM115 behind a Highfield 660. Rated at a maximum of 175 horsepower, we hit an impressive—and almost dead-quiet—25 knots (with three people aboard) in Newport Harbor.
