The result was the stunning Fairchild Scout 30. This remarkable small live-aboard is owned by Russell and Nancy Bourne of Jupiter, Florida. With a super-efficient small diesel engine, Hope and Glory not only averages a mere gallon-per-hour fuel burn, but she’s proof that you don’t have to be rich to enjoy one of the coolest boats on the water.
