This jetboat caught fire two turns before the end of the race, and what a fire it was. The response time of the safety crew here is beyond impressive, and it’s certainly good to know these guys are at the ready.
Of course, we were also glad to see a swift exit by the racers, who seem to deboard uninjured. As for the boat? Hard to say. But that’s just the pay-to-play price of this sport.
