The Simrad HH36 Class D DSC marine handheld VHF has an integrated GPS for full digital selective calling functionality and safety benefits. With a large 1- by 1.6-inch backlit LCD screen, the HH36 has navigation and plotter modes that provide bearing, speed, course, and waypoint information at a glance. Soft keys provide intuitive operation of the various functions.
The HH36 has the functionality expected in a handheld VHF including dual watch, a dedicated 16/9 button, and access to international channels.
Waterproof to JIS-7 standard, the Simrad HH36 can be immersed for up to 30 minutes in water 39 inches deep, and holds a battery charge for up to 13 hours.
The push-to-talk button is large and easy to operate while wearing gloves, according to Simrad.
